The Boy Scouts of Troop 8 did a great job at the Chatham Green Fair collecting 12 gently used bicycles. In the rear is the Assistant Scoutmaster Stephen Kamionek overlooking the proud members of Troop 8.

New Donation Record Set

176 bicycles were donated on July 16, 2011 to the newly established Newark Boys and Girls Club Bike Exchange at 31 Central Avenue. This is the only bike shop in the entire city of Newark. All proceeds from sales are donated to the Boys and Girls Club of Newark.

Successful Bike Drive at Hastings-on-Hudson Farmers' Market

Curtis Appel, Good Goes Around's Westchester Director, organized a bike drive on Saturday June 18, 2011 that collected 13 bikes for children in Yonkers.

Danny Cohen Collects Helmets and Raises Awareness About Concussions

Danny Cohen (center) and members of Opportunity Project with the 65 bike helmets he collected as part of his Mitzvah project for his 13th birthday. The helmets were donated to the Kids Resources Division of the Community Foodbank of New Jersey to be distributed with bicycles collected by Good Goes Around. Opportunity Project is a Millburn, N.J. based supportive network of adults with brain injuries who participate in vocational, educational and social activities. The organization provides resources and advocacy to assist persons with brain injury in achieving their goals of leading fulfilling lives.

Washington Avenue School Green Team Shatters The Record

Mary Lonergan (event organizer) and Carly Becker at the Washington Avenue School Green Team's Recycle-A-Bicycle Day on March 27, 2010 in Chatham. 75 bicycles were collected, breaking the previous record for a single day event of 50 bicycles held by the Mount Prospect School in Basking Ridge.
